Ayurvedic Herbal Wines

Sri Lanka has a tradition of scientific wine manufacture that hails from pre-Christian times. For the Sri Lankans, these wines have been multipurpose in their usefulness.

The following Herbal Wines were produced by the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drug Corporation. All the wines are sweet red wines.

  • Dashamoola is the potent magical concoction of ten dried roots of ten different plants, which have been widely used in Ayurveda. such as Pepper, Black Raisins, Bees Honey, Cloves etc. This incredible herbal remedy is not only used for pain disorders and inflammatory diseases including also Strengthens Body, Improves Appetite, Relieves aches & pains, Cures Lung Ailments.

    Dasamoola 
  • Ashwagandha is a small evergreen shrub. It grows in India, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. Ashwagandha wine consist of ingrediant such as Withania Sominifera, Iramusu, Red & White Sandalwood, Bees Honey etc. Aphrodisiac, Strengthens body, Improves Appetite, Used as a General Tonic, Improves Virility and Rejuvenates. Use One oz. before meals daily.

  • Draksharishta or Draksharishtam is a classical, liquid ayurvedic formulation with dry grapes or raisins as the main ingredient. It improves the vital capacity of the lungs, strengthens the heart muscle & provides strength and energy to the body in general.   • Pippalyasavam is a well-known Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of Improves Appetite, effective in Indigestion, Used in Cough and all types of Lung Ailments. It contains long pepper as its main ingredient. It is an Ayurvedic wine preparation.

  • Chandana means sandalwood, which is the main ingredient of this medicine. It is an Ayurvedic wine preparation. Chandana used in treatment Cools the body, purifies the Urinary system and also Improves Appetite.

  • Seetharama Vati has been excessively used in Ayurveda and traditional medicine systems in Sri Lanka. It is effective in all types of fever diarrhea and convulsions of young and adults.

  • Sarvavishadi Thaila is one of the widely used herbal preparations in the traditional system of medicine in srilanka. Its formula is consisting with many herbs, oils, spices & minerals which are having different therapeutic Activities.

  • Sarwavishadi Oil gives relief from burns, tonsillitis, gum boils, swelling due to lymph enlargement, wounds in the mouth and throat.

  • Kapparavalli syrup is a well-known Ayurvedic medicine used in the Cough and all types of Lung Ailments. It contains Kapparavalli as its main ingredient. It is an Ayurvedic syrup preparation.
