A stop at a snake farm in Matara adds an unexpected edge to the day before you continue to the Japanese Peace Pagoda.
Arrive at the Pagoda as the sun drops toward the horizon and watch calm ocean waves break below the white dome. The tour is private, so the pace is yours. Hotel pick-up and drop-off from Galle are included, along with a litre of bottled mineral water per person. Entrance fees, meals, and gratuities are not included, so carry some cash for the sites.
