Climb into a tuk-tuk and spend four hours exploring the hill-country town of Ella and its surroundings. Your private, English-speaking guide picks you up directly from your Ella hotel and steers you through the winding roads to Rakkitha Kanda and on to Buduruwagala — an ancient Mahayana Buddhist temple complex carved into rock, dating back over a thousand years.
