The Kaudulla National Park, located in the Polonnaruwa District, is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts, especially known for its large elephant gatherings. This park is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, making it a prime spot for safaris. Entrance tickets can be purchased online through Lakpura, with physical tickets available upon request. This includes entrance tickets and an English-speaking local Driver tour option.

Kaudulla National Park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds, especially during the dry season when hundreds of elephants gather around the park's central tank. The park is also home to various species of birds, deer, and other wildlife. Visitors can explore the park's beautiful landscapes, which include grasslands, wetlands, and forest areas, all offering great opportunities for wildlife sightings. Early morning and late afternoon safaris are the best times for a memorable experience.
