Here, the twice-yearly monsoon winds combine with sunny days and cool nights, producing a desiccating effect on the tea plants and developing unique characteristics and intense flavour.
The grade of tea our tasters have chosen from this region is a Pekoe, with its typical curly leaf appearance. It brews a light-bodied, amber tea with a delightful floral aroma.
