Whale Watching Yacht Tour from Trincomalee

Trincomalee, which is a major resort town along the East Coast of Sri Lanka is frequented by many travels from around the world mainly for its beautiful beaches and water based activities. Best experienced during the months of May to October, this 7 hour whale watching cruise comes with an ultimate hospitality experience and is perfect to watch the giant sea creatures in their natural habitat be it with families, colleagues and groups of friends.

Experience:

Your whale watching experience starts at 6.30 am where guests will be boarding a sailing catamaran from Dutch Bay in Trincomalee. The boat sets sail towards the deep sea until we sight the mighty whales. You might even spot schools of dolphins swimming about playfully. Along the way to the sighting area, our onboard chef will prepare and serve a freshly made breakfast. The crew gathers everyone to the bow or upper deck area when its time to spot these beautiful whales splashing around.

After completing the whale watching tour, we return to the shore and anchor for a few hours in the Back Bay, which is of proximity to the Thirukoneshwaram Temple - a renowned religious site in Trincomalee. This bay gives you the opportunity to enjoy some swimming, snorkelling and stand up paddle-boarding. Once the activities are concluded, guests can disembark at Dutch Bay by 1.30 pm in the afternoon.
