Le masque Maru Sanniya est une représentation saisissante du rituel traditionnel Sanni Yakuma du Sri Lanka, symbolisant la mort ou une maladie en phase terminale. Peint à la main de façon éclatante, le masque présente une base noire audacieuse ornée de motifs jaunes et rouges ardents, des yeux ronds intenses et une large bouche rouge remplie de dents blanches acérées, soulignant ainsi sa présence spirituelle redoutable. Le masque Kapala Sanniya est utilisé à des fins de guérison et de bénédiction à travers un spectacle au cours duquel 18 types de maladies, infligées par des démons, sont

éliminées du corps humain.

Custom made wearable masks can be ordered separately upon request and proper measurement.
