This urban wetland park is located in Thalawathugoda and covers a land area of about 60 acres. An ideal spot for bird watching, this wetland comprises of a diverse range of habitats including lakes, ponds, flooded jungle areas and marshes, enabling local and rare migrant birds to breed and nest. Not only bird watching but the Diyasuru Park is also home to many species of dragonflies, butterflies, mammals, fish, amphibians and reptiles. Study areas, green buildings, board-walks are added to the beauty of the park which provides visitors a chance to enjoy and admire the wondrous beauty of the park.
