About this experience
Le Temple de la Relique de la Dent Sacrée à Kandy est l'un des sites les plus vénérés du bouddhisme et une propriété désignée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Au sein de ses salles de sanctuaires dorées et richement décorées repose la relique de la dent sacrée du Bouddha, attirant les pèlerins et les visiteurs du monde entier. Le complexe date du 17e siècle et porte avec lui un héritage royal qui a façonné l'histoire culturelle et religieuse du Sri Lanka.
La visite guidée dure environ une heure, au cours de laquelle un guide anglophone fait découvrir aux visiteurs l'histoire du temple, les rituels observés dans ses murs et les détails architecturaux qui rendent le complexe si particulier. La visite est ouverte aux visiteurs âgés de cinq ans et plus et est menée en anglais en tant qu'expérience en groupe organisée par Lakpura.
