Join this 10-hour day tour to Anuradhapura from Dambulla and make your visit to Sri Lanka a splendid one! Your guide will pick you up from your Dambulla hotel and take you to explore the most cultural sites in Anuradhapura. Enjoy breakfast at your Dambulla accommodation before your 8am pickup. Head out with your guide and begin your 1.5-hour drive to Anuradhapura for a 9:30am arrival.

Your guide will give you a tour of the city including ancient monuments above mentioned. After visiting sacred sites in Anuradhapura, take a 1-hour break at 2:30pm for lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).

After lunch, make a 30-minute drive to Mihintale, one of the most significant sites in the cultural triangle. Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

Finally, at approximately 5:30pm you will be transferred back to your Dambulla hotel.
